Kwara Launches Garment Making Factory

The garment factory started and completed by Governor A. A. Rahman which will be the largest in West Africa at full capacity will commence operations this year.

Kwara State is being positioned to capture at least 2% of the global garment market when it begins full operations, with daily production of thousands of garments from its newly set up factory that is the biggest in West Africa sub-region.

The garment factory is one of the many initiatives of Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq to drive socio-economic growth in the state.

Thousands of workers are presently being employed through a transparent online process built on competence and capability.
