IGP Egbetokun on 3-day Visit to Ogun from Tuesday

The Inspector-General of Police, Kayode Egbetokun will be paying a 3-day working visit to Ogun State from Tuesday, 16th April, through the 18th of April 2024.

According to the Ogun State Police Command, the IGP on his arrival on Tuesday would pay a courtesy visit on the governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun and the Alake and paramount ruler of Egbaland, Oba Adedotun Gbadebo.

On the second day of his visit, IGP Egbetokun will inspect a guard of honour at the state police headquarters, Eleweran and address police officers and stakeholders who would be on hand to welcome him.

He will then commence the official commissioning of the newest building in the state headquarters, the technical intelligence unit and the complaint response unit, all in Eleweran.

The IGP will now move to the OluKayode Egbetokun Multi-purpose Hall at Oke-Olewo and an event center for commissioning.

Thereafter, he will proceed to Sagamu, to pay a courtesy visit on the Akarigbo of Remoland, after which he will replicate same in Ijebu-Ode to pay a courtesy visit on the Awujale of Ijebuland .

On the third and the last day of the visit, the Police boss will proceed to Ilaro to pay a courtesy visit on the Olu of Ilaro and thereafter, depart for Lagos.
