Here Is Why This Elegant Woman Is Trending After Coronation Of King Charles III

When a Nigerian woman arrived at Westminster Abbey for the coronation of King Charles III, she quickly became the cynosure of all eyes.

The woman, Eva Omaghomi, a royal appointment, stood out from the crowd because she was wearing traditional Yorùbá clothing and gele (headgear) that matched.

The Iro and Buba is an essential, traditional outfit of Yorùbá women. The Iro is a colorful garment that is wrapped around the waist and is accompanied by a long sleeved blouse called the Buba. This is commonly worn with a matching headscarf called a Gele.

The coronation, which took place on May 6, is receiving praise from social media users for Eve’s representation of Yorùbá culture.

Channels Television shared photographs of Eva that were captured by AFP photographer Paul Ellis on Instagram.
