The former Governor of Ekiti State, Dr. Kayode Fayemi, has showered praises on his successor, Governor Biodun Oyebanji, for his outstanding performance and leadership skills.

Fayemi’s commendation came during the commissioning of two major road projects in the state – the Agric Olope-Odo Ado-Moferere road and the GRA 3rd extension road (phase one).

These projects were initiated by Fayemi’s administration and completed by Oyebanji’s government.

“You are a worthy successor,” Fayemi said, addressing Oyebanji. “Your excellent record of performance and ability to unite leaders across different political interests in the state is truly commendable.”

Fayemi highlighted Oyebanji’s commitment to completing projects initiated by his administration, demonstrating a strong sense of continuity and progress.

He also praised Oyebanji’s leadership style, which has fostered a sense of unity and cooperation among stakeholders in the state.

Oyebanji, in response, thanked Fayemi for laying a solid foundation for his administration and pledged to continue delivering dividends of democracy to the people of Ekiti State.

The commissioned road projects are expected to improve transportation, stimulate economic growth, and enhance the quality of life for residents.

They are part of Oyebanji’s administration’s efforts to boost infrastructure development and transform Ekiti State into a land of prosperity, opportunity, peace, and progress.

Stakeholders, including community leaders and residents, have hailed the projects as a testament to Oyebanji’s commitment to development.

“Governor Oyebanji has shown that he is a leader who keeps his promises,” said Chief Adebayo Adeyeye, a community leader. “We are grateful for these projects and look forward to more development initiatives.”
