A former member of the House of representatives, Olumide Ojerinde, is optimistic that Nigeria’s economy will soon improve with the strategies already put in place by President Bola Tinubu.

He said this while speaking with newsmen on the sideline of his return to the All Progressives Congress in his Igboho hometown, Oyo State.

Olumide Ojerinde represented Orelope/Irepo/Olohunsogo Federal Constituency of the state at the House of Representatives between 2019 and 2023.

He left for the Accord Party to contest for the same post in 2023, but lost out.

He’s now back with his supporters to the APC, where he is formally received into the party at his Igboho country home.

A former chairman of the Accord Party in Orelope Local Government Area of Oyo State, where Simon Alaba and members of the party also returned to the APC.

Speaking on some national issues, Ojerinde was hopeful that the nation’s economy would soon improve.

Ojerinde believed that the return of the aggrieved members back into the APC would put the party in good stead ahead of future elections.
