The Flying Eagles of Nigeria have wrapped up their 12-day training camp in Santiago, Chile, ahead of the 2025 FIFA U-20 World Cup.

The team is now set to continue its build-up in Talca City, located in southern Chile, as part of preparations for the global tournament.

During their stay in Santiago, the squad engaged in intensive training sessions and test games designed to improve fitness, team chemistry, and tactical discipline. Coaches also used the period to assess players’ readiness and fine-tune strategies.

The relocation to Talca, one of the host cities for the tournament, is expected to give the Flying Eagles an early feel of the environment as they intensify preparations for their group stage matches.

Nigeria, a two-time finalist at the U-20 World Cup, will be aiming to clinch its first-ever title at the tournament.
