Ekiti State witnessed a historic moment on Saturday as three former governors of the state, Segun Oni, Ayodele Fayose, and Niyi Adebayo, came together to commission projects marking the second anniversary of Governor Biodun Oyebanji’s administration.

The former Governors, who have had differing political affiliations and ideologies in the past, put aside their differences to laud Oyebanji’s outstanding leadership and efforts to unite the citizens of Ekiti.

This endorsement is a testament to Oyebanji’s commitment to the state’s progress and unity.

Speaking at the commissioning ceremony, former Governor Segun Oni praised Oyebanji’s ability to deploy governance and politics to bring the people of Ekiti together. “We are proud of Governor Oyebanji’s achievements and his dedication to the welfare of Ekiti people,” Oni said.

Former Governor Ayodele Fayose also commended Oyebanji’s leadership, stating, “The governor has demonstrated his capacity to lead and unite the people of Ekiti, and we are confident in his ability to take the state to greater heights.”

Niyi Adebayo, another former governor, echoed similar sentiments, saying, “Governor Oyebanji’s administration has made significant strides in infrastructure development, economic empowerment, and social welfare, and we are pleased to support his efforts.”

The commissioned projects include road infrastructure development, economic empowerment initiatives, and social welfare programs aimed at improving the lives of Ekiti residents.

Governor Oyebanji expressed gratitude to the former governors for their support and endorsement, promising to continue working tirelessly for the progress and unity of Ekiti State.
