EndBadGovernance protest in Lagos

Hundreds of protesters took to the streets of Lagos today, August 1, 2024, demanding an end to bad governance in the country

The protest with the hashtag #EndBadGovernance which began at Ikeja saw demonstrators march through to Ojota while some marched down to Lagos power house, Alausa, chanting slogans and waving placards.

The protesters are comprising of young individuals, civil society groups, students, among other concerned citizens.

So far, the protest has been peaceful in Lagos as at press time.
