Chief Olumuyiwa Makinde ascends to Aare Onibon Olubadan of Ibadanland

In a grand ceremony, the Olubadan of Ibadanland, Oba Olakulehin, has elevated Chief Olumuyiwa Makinde to the esteemed title of Aare Onibon Olubadan of Ibadanland.

The ceremony took place at the New Olubadan Palace in Oke Aremo, Ibadan.

Chief Makinde, previously the Bada Olubadan, expressed his heartfelt gratitude for the honor.

“I am deeply humbled and grateful to the Olubadan of Ibadanland for bestowing upon me this great honor,” he said.

“I pledge to continue serving the Olubadan-in-Council and the people of Ibadanland with dedication and loyalty.”

This historic elevation marks a significant milestone in Chief Makinde’s distinguished career, recognizing his contributions to the community.

The new Aare Onibon Olubadan looks forward to continuing his service to Ibadanland in his new capacity.
