BRICS Is Dead – Trump

US President Donald Trump has declared the BRICS alliance “dead” after threatening to impose 100% tariffs on member nations if they attempt to replace the US dollar with an alternative currency.

Trump claimed that BRICS was created for a “bad purpose” and that most people don’t want it.

According to Trump, the US will not trade with BRICS nations if they try to “play games” with the dollar.

He warned that any trading with these nations would be conducted at a 100% tariff. Trump stated, “If BRICS wants to play games, those countries won’t trade with us. We won’t trade with them, and if any trading gets through, it’ll be a 100% tariff at least”

This is not the first time Trump has threatened BRICS nations with tariffs. In January, he warned that the US would impose tariffs on BRICS nations if they tried to introduce an alternative currency to the US dollar.

The BRICS alliance, formed in 2009, consists of Brazil, Russia, India, China, and South Africa, with newer members including Iran, Egypt, Ethiopia, and the United Arab Emirates.

Some member countries, particularly Russia and China, have been exploring alternatives to the US dollar.
