President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has appointed Nasir Naeem Abdulsalam as the new Managing Director of Ajaokuta Steel Company, effective April 3, 2025.

This appointment aligns with the provisions of the Certain Political and Judicial Office Holders Act 2008.

Abdulsalam brings a wealth of experience to his new role, having served as Technical Adviser to the Minister of Steel Development and Special Assistant to the Director General of the National Institute for Legislative and Democratic Studies.

President Tinubu has tasked Abdulsalam with leveraging his expertise to revolutionize the steel company and drive industrial growth, positioning Nigeria as Africa’s industrial hub.
