African Students to Honour Nigeria’s Defence Chief Gen. Musa, Resource Centre Boss Maj.-Gen. Wahab, Others

The international leadership of the All-Africa Students Union (AASU) is set to honour more distinguished Africans for their contributions to nation building on the continent.

This is coming after it’s cocktail dinner at the Transcorp Hilton, Abuja last weekend, which had in attendance prominent leaders across the continent, including the Emir of Kano, Alhaji Aminu Ado Bayero, Nollywood star, Chinedu Ikedieze, among others.

Those set to be honoured by the students are Nigeria’s Chief of Defence Staff, General Christopher Gwabin Musa; the Chairman/CEO of Efab Properties Limited, Dr. Fabian Nwora; the Director-General, Nigeria Army Resource Centre, Major-General Garba Ayodeji Wahab; founder and head prophet of Christ Mercyland Deliverance Ministry (CMDM), Effurun, Delta State, Prophet Jeremiah Fufeyin; and the Managing Director, News Engineering Limited, Lady Josephine Nwaeze.

Also to be honoured are the CEO, GACH Global – The Gambia, Dr. Abubakary Jawara; the Founder, The Bulb Africa, Mr. Tosin Osunkoya; the CEO, Threemplus Group, Mohammed Jammal, and the Founder of the Ovo Edewor Foundation, Chief Ogheneovo Edewor.

In a chat with the international President of AASU, H. E. Osisiogu Osikenyi Enyinnaya, explained that the recognition of the distinguished leaders in various sectors and the security circles was part of the students’ efforts to encourage them to do more for Africa.

“We have tagged it (the awards) Insignia of Gratitude for those who contribute positively.”, the body said.
