Adeleke to Begin Upgrading for Osun Technical Colleges

March 27, 2024 1 min read

Osun State governor, Ademola Adeleke, has promised to revive the abandoned upgrading project for Osun technical colleges.

Adeleke said that technical colleges were needed now to address the increasing joblessness in the country.

This was made known in a statement shared on the X handle of the state government on Tuesday, March 26.

It reads in part: “Governor Ademola Adeleke has vowed to revive the abandoned upgrading project for the nine technical colleges in Osun state, requesting the consultant to mobilise to the state for the completion of the project.

“The Governor made this declaration on Tuesday while on a courtesy visit to the office of the General Manager of the Innovation Hub, Mr Meir Dagan, who is the consultant for the project.

“We cannot afford to abandon such a lofty project. We need technical colleges more than ever before to address the increasing joblessness in the country.”
