BREAKING π³π¬π§π·ποΈ: Alaafin Departs for Brazil as Oyo’s UNESCO World Heritage Recognition Takes Center Stage
His Imperial Majesty, Oba Akeem Abimbola Owoade I, the Alaafin of Oyo, has departed Nigeria for Brazil to attend the international conference, “Oyo: The City of Yoruba Cultural Heritage,” in Salvador da Bahia. The event highlights Oyo’s historical, cultural, and spiritual significance and forms part of international efforts toward the recognition of Oyo as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The conference will also be attended by representatives of the Nigerian and Brazilian governments, UNESCO, partner universities, and cultural institutions.
