JUST IN 🇳🇬🚨: The traditional ruler, Bale of Oriire in Oyo State, has revealed that three farmers were allegedly killed by terrorists days before the recent abduction of teachers and pupils in the area.

The monarch said residents had repeatedly raised alarm over the growing presence of armed men around surrounding forests before the attackers stormed schools in Ahoro Esinle and abducted several victims.

He warned that the earlier killings should have served as a serious warning signal before the situation escalated into mass abductions.

Security operatives, Amotekun personnel, hunters, and vigilantes are currently continuing rescue operations across the affected communities and forest areas.
