BREAKING: “Yoruba Slots Are Not Yours by Birthright” – Anthony Olanipekun Tells Yorubas, Defends Adeleke’s Igbo Appointment
Anthony Olanipekun has lost his mind.
The spokesperson for The Unofficial Aides Campaign Committee has come out to tell Yorubas in Osun State that they have no right to complain about Governor Adeleke giving a top political position to an Igbo woman.
Yes, you read that correctly.
In a press release that has now gone viral, Anthony defended Professor Chinwe Obuaku, a non-Yoruba appointed as Director-General on Climate Change, and accused anyone questioning the move of being “ethnic” and “dangerous.”
He called the Osun APC xenophobic for simply asking why a Yoruba slot was given to an outsider.
He even dragged President Tinubu’s marriage into it, as if that justifies pushing Yoruba people to the back of the line in their own state.
Let this sink in. A man from Osun is telling Yorubas to shut up and accept non-Yorubas taking political positions meant for them. And he expects a pat on the back?
Governor Adeleke must be laughing in his sleep. He found someone willing to do the dirty work of gaslighting Yorubas into silence.
But here is the truth. Yorubas are not fools. We see what is happening. First, they take our political slots. Then they send their attack dogs like Anthony to call us tribalists when we complain.
Anthony can defend all he wants. But we will remember. And when election comes, we will speak the only language they understand — at the ballot box.
Yoruba land is not for sale.
