Yoruba people across Lagos and beyond are celebrating as Deputy Governor Dr. Obafemi Hamzat appeared before the APC Governorship Screening Committee in Abuja and received a clean bill of approval to move forward in the race for Lagos State’s top seat.

“Today in Abuja, I appeared before the APC Governorship Screening Committee ahead of our party primaries. I am grateful for the clean bill of approval and clearance to move forward,” Hamzat said.

Yoruba elders and political watchers say the journey is now set for a greater and more inclusive Lagos, with a true Yoruba son at the helm. The work continues, and the excitement is building.
