ERUKU, KWARA STATE: The land of Eruku turned into a battlefield as ruthless bandits stormed the Yorùbá town, but met their doom at the hands of relentless vigilantes who refused to bow.

The attackers ambushed the defenders, killing two vigilante fighters whose bodies are yet to be recovered. But the men of Eruku did not surrender. They reinforced, launched a counter-attack, and smashed the invaders, capturing bandits alive to prove that Yorùbá blood will never flow in vain.

The cries of mourning mix with chants of victory in Eruku. Families grieve the fallen, yet pride swells as the town stands tall against terror. Elders warn that the Okun-Yorùbá axis of Kwara and Kogi is under constant siege, while youths vow never to let the land fall to invaders.

“This is not just about Eruku. It is about Yorùbá survival,” thundered a youth leader, his voice shaking with anger and resolve.

The Eruku battle has become a blazing symbol of resistance. While government silence deepens the wound, the people of Yorùbá land are showing the world that no outsider can trample their heritage without paying the ultimate price.
