The University of Cross River State has confirmed receipt of school fees loan payments for 587 students for the 2023/2024 academic session.

This development follows NELFUND’s recent disbursement of N45,102,000.00 to the institution.

The NELFUND Student Loan Initiative, established by the Federal Government of Nigeria under President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s administration, aims to break financial barriers in tertiary institutions.

This program provides financial assistance to students, ensuring they can focus on their studies without the burden of fees.

The University of Cross River State, with campuses in Calabar, Obubra, Ogoja, and Okuku, offers various faculties, including Education, Engineering, Sciences, and Management Sciences.

This loan payment will enable the benefiting students to concentrate on their academic pursuits, paving the way for a brighter future.

The NELFUND Student Loan Initiative by President Bola Tinubu will promotes educational inclusivity and provides opportunities for those who may have otherwise been unable to afford their education.

However, it demonstrates the Federal Government’s commitment to empowering students and fostering academic success.
