The Ogun State Governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun, made an unscheduled visit to the Shagamu-Benin Expressway to assess the damage and understand the cause of its complete breakdown.

This vital road connects Lagos to the southeast and south-south zones of Nigeria, and its collapse has caused significant hardship for commuters.

Recall, Motorist and travelers decried about the present situation of the road last weekend with many drivers saying they spends more hours on that highway.

Governor Abiodun’s swift response to the situation aims to alleviate the hardship faced by commuters and promote economic growth in the region.

His visit demonstrates commitment to finding immediate solutions to ease commuters’ suffering and restore the road to full functionality.

The Sagamu-Benin Expressway is a critical transportation artery, and its rehabilitation is essential for the economic well-being of the region.

Dapo Abiodun’s administration has shown interest in infrastructure development. For instance, the Ogun State Government recently ordered a business concern, Zinc Industry, to halt production due to environmental infractions
