The Appeal Court has issued a directive compelling the former Governor of Kogi State, Yahaya Bello, to present himself for arraignment.

This ruling overrides the earlier decision granting Bello exemption from appearance.

Sources close to the investigation reveal that Bello has been hiding in the Kogi State Government House, with Governor Usman Ododo allegedly shielding him from arrest.

The EFCC has filed 19 criminal counts against Bello, accusing him of criminal diversion and money laundering totaling N80,246,470,089.88 during his tenure as governor.

The charges, filed at the Federal High Court 9 in Abuja, contravene the Money Laundering (Prohibition) Act, 2011, as amended.

As the EFCC intensifies its search for Bello, Nigerians demand justice and accountability for alleged financial misconduct.
