In Group A, Nigeria are paired with Egypt, Morocco and Kenya for the men’s team, while the women’s team will face competition from Kenya, Rwanda and Zimbabwe.

While the Nigerian men’s team get their campaign underway with a game against Kenya, the women’s team square off against Zimbabwe.

Speaking ahead of the event, Kayode Ladele, President, Nigeria Para Volleyball Federation, spoke highly of the teams under the tutelage of Egyptian coach Elaiuty Mosaad.

“In preparing them for this, when we started, we got a foreign coach to come from Egypt, who is one of the best coaches in the world in sitting volleyball.
