The Minister of Interior, Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo has participated in an interactive session with the Senate, alongside top government officials and service chiefs, to seek a lasting solution to insecurity in the country.
He also welcomed his successor, Hon. Ifeoluwa Ehindero, after emerging the winner of the Akoko North-East/North-West Federal Constituency by-election in Ondo State.
Tunji-Ojo made this known in post via his X handle on Saturday, February 17.
Sharing photos from the different events, he wrote: “1. During the week, I participated in an interactive session with the Nigerian Senate, alongside top government officials and service chiefs, to seek a lasting solution to insecurity in the country.
“2. Additionally, I attended the send-off and retirement ceremony of the former Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Interior, Dr. Oluwatoyin Akinlade, who retired as a distinguished civil servant.
“3. I also welcomed my successor, Hon. Ifeoluwa Ehindero, after emerging as the winner of the Akoko North-East/North-West Federal Constituency by-election and has since been sworn in.”
