Tinubu Expresses Condolences with Morocco in Wake of Earthquake Tragedy

In a heartfelt message, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu of Nigeria has expressed his condolences and unwavering solidarity with Morocco following a catastrophic earthquake that struck the North African nation on Saturday.

The earthquake, which has claimed numerous lives and left many injured, has prompted an outpouring of support from leaders across the globe.

President Tinubu extended his sympathies to King Mohammed VI of Morocco and all the affected families.

The 6.8-magnitude earthquake that hit late Friday has left the nation in mourning for those who lost their lives and praying for the swift recovery of those injured.

“I extend my heartfelt condolences to King Mohammed VI of Morocco following Saturday’s devastating earthquake in his homeland, which claimed many lives,” President Tinubu stated in his message.

He further commiserated with the families who lost loved ones and all those who had been affected by the tragic event.

The Nigerian President’s message also carried an assurance that the thoughts and prayers of the Nigerian people were with the citizens of Morocco during this challenging time.

“In the face of this adversity, Nigeria will continue to stand in solidarity with Morocco as they recover, rebuild, and come out stronger than ever from this unfortunate event,” President Tinubu vowed.
