The Canadian Police have apprehended a suspect believed to be responsible for the fatal stabbing of Ifeanyichukwu Oseke, an international student from Nigeria.
The incident occurred in Scarborough towards the end of last month, as reported by the Toronto police.
A 25-year-old man from Toronto has been charged with second-degree murder, according to a news release issued on Saturday.
On the same day, a Canada-wide warrant was issued for the arrest of the suspect in relation to the killing of the 28-year-old Oseke.
Last week Sunday, the police received a distress call reporting a stabbing incident in the vicinity of Eglinton Avenue East and Brimley Road.
According to the police report, an altercation took place in a parking lot involving two men.
Upon arrival at the scene, officers discovered a man displaying signs of trauma.
Oseke was immediately taken to the hospital, but unfortunately succumbed to his injuries.
The suspect made an appearance in court in Toronto on Sunday.
