Abducted Medical Students: Kidnappers Demand 50m Ransom

A sense of urgency and concern has gripped the Benue Medical Students Association (BEMSA) community as the names of abducted medical students have surfaced, accompanied by a staggering ransom demand from the kidnappers.

The abducted students from both University of Jos and University of Maiduguri, were ambushed and abducted while travelling to the Federation of Catholic Medical and Dental Students (FECAMDS) annual convention in Enugu.

In a press release by the institution shows the names of missing students in a release obtained by The YorubaTimes.

One of the victims in his last tweet on X , Kingsley Aondona, revealed that the kidnappers are requesting for N50m ransom

“We were kidnapped on our way to Enugu for a convention @Nigerian_Doctor there are requesting for 50 million for 20 of us medical students please help us and we haven’t eaten for two days

The public has called for immediate action while some urge the Nigerian Police Force to track down the perpetrators through the last tweet by Kingsley.

As the situation unfolds, it is essential to remain vigilant and report any suspicious activities.
